Pause Keyword
pause_keyword
Use pause_keyword when a keyword is underperforming but you are not ready to permanently remove it. Pausing stops the keyword from triggering ads while preserving its historical data and quality score. This is safer than removing: you can re-enable it later if conditions change, such as after landing page improvements or seasonal shifts.
